I have always put myself before anybody. Selfish? Maybe. That is the only rational way to get things done. Although this approach has gotten me this “far,” it has also ruined so many things that I care about — particularly my relationship. “You can’t manage me; I am not one of your products” was what she altered. I felt that down in my soul (*inserts fake smile*).

This one time, I will be putting someone I care about before me, at least till I figure out how to manage my sh*t!
